Piano Studio of Hanna Lim Murphy
Hanna Lim Murphy is a classically trained piano pedagogue and accompanist with a BM in Piano Performance and an MM in Piano Performance and Piano Pedagogy (graduation 2026 Spring). With over 15 years of private piano teaching experience and over 20 years of accompanying instrumentalists, singers, choirs, bands, musicals, and churches, Hanna brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to her studio.
Teaching philosophy
Teaching students of various ages and levels for many years - focus on reading music and the principles of music theory to help students to better understand the music. This will help the student develop a strong foundation, enabling them to continue creating music even after they stop taking lessons. Ms. Hanna's eagerness to continuously learn and research different teaching methods ensures her lesson plans are engaging and effective.
